Custom Domain

This method allows customers to customize their domain as desired.

Once the custom domain setup is complete, customers can access it to log in and use the platform.

The Owner can:

  • Set up a new Custom Domain

  • View custom domain information

  • Remove custom domain

Note: Only the owner of the Workspace can update the custom domain.

A - Set up a new Custom Domain

On the "Workspace setting Page", click the button "Set up a Custom Domain"

Step 1: Select a domain

At Step 1: Select a domain

  • First: Input the custom domain you want to create, e.g: diaflowplatform.vkgroupjsc.com

  • Second: Click the button "Next"

Note: You must own a domain or have the ability to use a subdomain

Step 2: Verify domain

At Step 2: Verify domain

The system will generate information:

  • TXT - Name - Target

Configure TXT on the domain management application

Then, go to the domain management application you are using and proceed with the configuration.

For example, if you are using name.com to manage the domain vkgroupjsc.com, you will need to add record TXT as follows:

  • Type = TXT

  • Host = Paste the "Name" value from the instructions

  • Answer = Paste the "Target" value from the instructions

  • TTL = 300

Then, click "Add Record" to apply the changes.

After adding a record of success on the domain management application. Back to the screen on Diaflow and check "Come back here and confirm once you have updated the code on your settings"

Click button "Start Verification" -> The System will verify your custom domain

If Success

If successful, the system will update to Step 3

If Failed

If it fails, the system will display. You need to recheck the config on your domain management application and retry.

Step 3: Configure your DNS

At Step 3: Configure your DNS

CNAME info

The system generates 2 pieces of information:

  • CNAME - NAME - Target

  • ANME - NAME - Target

Configure CNAME on the domain management application

Then, go to the domain management application you are using and proceed with the configuration.

For example, if you are using name.com to manage the domain vkgroupjsc.com, you will need to add two DNS records as follows:

Connection 1:

  • Type = CNAME

  • Host = Paste the "Name" value from the instructions (Remove text "vkgroupjsc.com")

  • Answer = Paste the "Target" value from the instructions

  • TTL = 300

Then, click "Add Record" to apply the changes.

Connection 2:

  • Type = ANAME

  • Host = Paste the "Name" value from the instructions (Remove text "vkgroupjsc.com")

  • Answer = Paste the "Target" value from the instructions

  • TTL = 300

Then, click "Add Record" to apply the changes.

Done Config Cname on domain management application

After you are done configuring the config cname on your domain management application, click the button "Next"

Step 4: Check your domain

At Step 4: Check your domain

The system checks your domain, this may take up to 30 minutes (In reality, it will only take about 1 to 2 minutes.)

You can click "Close the window" to exit the popup and can come back to check the status later

On the "Workspace setting Page", you can view the status

If successful, it will display

Now you can use this custom domain

B - View custom domain information

After creating a custom domain, on the "Workspace setting Page", click the button "Manage Domain"

Display the pop-up with the information below:

C - Remove custom domain

After creating a custom domain, on the "Workspace setting Page", click the button "Remove domain and back to default"

Display the Popup confirm

  • Confirm: The system removes the custom domain, back to the default.

  • Cancel: turn off Popup

Note: Now you can't login via custom domain
