# Connectors, Tools & Memory

Integrate external SaaS tools via Connectors & Custom MCP, control tool permissions, and manage your Teammate's continuous learning memory.

To perform end-to-end work across your company's tech stack, an AI Teammate needs more than just conversation — it needs access to your enterprise apps, clear permission guardrails, and the ability to remember your personal preferences over time.

## Connectors: Linking Enterprise Apps & Custom MCP <a href="#user-content-1-connectors-linking-enterprise-apps--custom-mcp" id="user-content-1-connectors-linking-enterprise-apps--custom-mcp"></a>

Navigate to **Settings `⚙️` → Connectors** to connect external data sources and third-party software to your Teammate.

**Adding Integrations:**

Click the **`Add`** button in the top-right corner to choose an integration pathway:

* **Library:** Connect pre-built, one-click integrations with major enterprise platforms, including:
  * **Databases & BI:** Tableau, Microsoft Azure SQL, Metabase, Snowflake, Google Sheets.
  * **Communication & Workspace:** Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion, Jira.
  * **CRM & Content:** HubSpot, Salesforce, Strapi, Tavily.
* **Custom MCP (Model Context Protocol):** Connect proprietary internal APIs, custom private databases, or self-hosted business microservices using standard Model Context Protocol servers.

Once connected, your Teammate can read data, run live queries, and execute authorized workflows directly in those external platforms.

## Tools & Privacy: Granular Capability Controls <a href="#user-content-2-tools--privacy-granular-capability-controls" id="user-content-2-tools--privacy-granular-capability-controls"></a>

Under the **Tools & Privacy** tab, you have full control over what built-in platform capabilities your Teammate is permitted to execute. Each tool features an independent **Toggle Switch (ON/OFF)** to balance productivity, credit consumption, and enterprise privacy.

You can filter tools by **All**, **Enabled**, or **Disabled**, or use the search bar. The available tools are categorized as follows:

**A. Web Intelligence & Research**

* **Web Search:** Search the public internet for current market trends, news, competitor information, or facts.
* **Web Fetch:** Fetch and extract full content directly from a specific URL provided in the prompt.
* **Image Search:** Search and retrieve relevant reference images from the web.
* **Tool Search:** Allows the Teammate to dynamically search and discover available tools to satisfy complex multi-step requests.

**B. Generative Media & Creative Creation**

* **Image Generation:** Enable Diaflow to generate custom visual assets, illustrations, or mockups.
* **Video Generation:** Enable Diaflow to synthesize short-form video content from textual prompts or storyboard scripts.
* **Audio Generation:** Enable speech and audio synthesis for voiceovers, podcasts, or spoken briefings.

**C. Deliverables & Data Visualization**

* **Artifacts:** Allow Diaflow to generate interactive standalone deliverables (presentations, structured code, diagrams, spreadsheets) accessible in the right-side preview pane.
* **Inline Visualization:** Enable Diaflow to render charts and graphs (bar, line, pie) directly within the conversation stream.

**D. Memory, Privacy & Context**

* **Generate memory from chat history:** Allow Diaflow to quietly identify and remember personal preferences, project goals, and constraints across chats. *(Turn off for strictly ephemeral/private conversations)*.
* **Search and reference chats:** Allow Diaflow to search and retrieve important facts or past decisions from previous conversation threads.
* **Location metadata:** Allow Diaflow to access approximate location data (city or region) to provide geographically relevant weather, time, or localized answers.
* **Save Skills:** Enable Diaflow to save or update newly discovered, reusable procedural skills directly to your workspace.

#### 3. Memory: Long-Term Context & Personalization <a href="#user-content-3-memory-long-term-context--personalization" id="user-content-3-memory-long-term-context--personalization"></a>

Unlike traditional chatbots that forget everything when a session ends, your AI Teammate quietly learns from day-to-day interactions to understand your role, team priorities, and working habits.

Open **Settings `⚙️` → Memory** to inspect, edit, or wipe what your Teammate has learned.

**Memory Layers:**

1. **Core Context Fields:**
   * **Work context:** Your professional role, domain focus, and active architectural responsibilities.
   * **Personal context:** Working style, preferred language (e.g., bilingual Vietnamese/English), and design aesthetics.
   * **Top of mind:** Immediate short-term priorities, upcoming deadlines, or active system blockers.
2. **History (Multi-Tiered Timeline):**
   * Expand the **HISTORY** drawer to view chronological stages (*Recent months, Earlier context, Long-term background*) detailing project milestones and career transitions.
3. **Discrete Facts (Tagged with Badges):**
   * Specific rules, technical standards, or preferences saved as modular cards (e.g., `Goal`, `Preferences`).
   * *Example:* Design typography rules (`Bricolage Grotesque`), data modeling standards (`dbt Snapshot/SCD Type 2`), or target chart formats.

**Managing Your Memory:**

* **Add a Fact:** Manually insert a critical rule or preference anytime without waiting for the AI to learn it.
* **Edit & Delete:** Click the pencil icon to correct any misremembered fact, or click the trash can to delete outdated preferences.
* **Search Memory:** Use the search bar at the top to quickly audit what the Teammate knows about a specific project or colleague.
* **Clear All Memory:** Completely resets the Teammate's learned memory with a single click, restoring their context to day-one defaults.
