# Routines & Automation

Automate recurring business processes in the background with schedule-based and event-driven routines.

**Routines** are automated workflows that your AI Teammate executes autonomously, either on a recurring schedule or whenever a specific event occurs in an integrated application.

Instead of manually reminding your Teammate to perform regular tasks, Routines allow your AI coworker to work proactively in the background and deliver structured results straight to your **Inbox**.

All executions of a routine are compiled into a rolling conversation thread inside your Inbox panel, giving you a clean, chronological audit trail with timestamp separators.
