# Select AI Models

**What it does:** Allows you to choose which AI model processes your requests. Different models have different strengths in intelligence, speed, thinking, and cost.

#### How to use

1\. On Home Page: Click the Model dropdown in the input bar

2\. In Conversation: Click the model dropdown (changes apply to next prompt)

3\. Search Models: Type to filter the model list

4\. Select Model: Click to choose; model info and capabilities are displayed

#### When to switch models

\- For speed: Choose faster models (e.g., GPT-5-mini) for quick responses

\- For quality: Choose advanced models (e.g., GPT-5, Claude 4.5) for complex tasks

\- For specific tasks: Some models are optimized for images, videos, or document analysis

\- For cost: Balance between model cost and your credit balance
